Titans News: Division Altering Day

NFL: AFC Championship-Tennessee Titans at Kansas City Chiefs Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

The Titans franchise tagged Derrick Henry and kept their triplets together for 2020 in AJ Brown, Derrick Henry, and Ryan Tannehill.

Jack Conklin was lost to the Browns, but Dennis Kelly looks to take the right tackle job next year. Conklin didn’t go for a lot, but 20 million in the first year would have been tough for the Titans to match. They still need to sign a lot of depth and sign an impact edge player.

The OTAs will be postponed due to COVID-19.

When I woke up yesterday, I didn’t think that the Titans would have an easier path to the division crown than when they started the day, but that’s exactly what happened when Bill O’Brien inexplicably traded DeAndre Hopkins to the Cardinals for David Johnson and not a first round pick.

Stefon Diggs was also traded, but to the Bills. Diggs was in fact, traded for a 1st rounder, which again, DeAndre Hopkins was not. Amazing.

The Colts traded for DeForest Buckner, who is really really good. I do not look forward to playing against him.

Marcus Mariota signed with the Raiders yesterday. I wish him well, as he’s been nothing but a great teammate since he’s been here.
