What are the odds? Titans vs. Browns

NFL: Tennessee Titans at Cleveland Browns Ken Blaze-USA TODAY Sports

A matchup of 8-3 teams will be one of the highlights of NFL’s week 13. It’ll be the Tennessee Titans and the surprising Cleveland Browns meeting in Nashville for another pivotal AFC game. It’s going to be the fourth straight massive game with playoff implications on both sides for Tennessee, who has gone 2-1 in the last three games against the Colts, Ravens and the Colts again.

The Titans now sit in the driver’s seat of the AFC South once again.

Meanwhile, the Browns keep finding ways to win. However, Cleveland has played the second easiest schedule in the league, beating just one team with a winning record to this point — the Colts. Mike Glennon and the Jaguars took them to the wire last week, nearly finding a way to pull the upset.

Perhaps that’s why the gambling markets have a clear favorite in this matchup. The Titans are a 5.5 point favorite here at home, and you can find it as high as 6.5 in some places. The total currently sits at 53.5.

The Titans will have to deal with one of the better rushing attacks in the league, a two-headed backfield featuring Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt. This backfield has stabilized Cleveland, as Baker Mayfield continues to struggle. Chubb, on the other hand, has turned into one of the league’s best backs, averaging over six yards per carry.

On the other side will be Derrick Henry, who is entering his favorite time of year. Henry season came early last week as the NFL’s leading rusher ran wild for 178 yards and three scores. He’ll get another stiff run defense this weekend, going up against Cleveland’s ninth-ranked unit.

The Titans are 5-6 against the spread this year, while the Browns are 4-7. The over continues to hit in Titans games, now with an 8-2-1 mark on the season to this point.
