The Titans finally got to the double-digit win total yesterday with their win over the Lions at Nissan Stadium. That is pretty important for a team that has been 9-7 for four consecutive seasons. The best thing about that is the playoff scenarios for the team revolve around them winning instead of them winning AND needing other teams to lose. I don’t know about you, but I am really, really thankful for that piece of it.
The Titans still control their destiny for the AFC South title. They win the division if they win their next two games. They can also clinch the division this week with a win in Green Bay and a Colts loss to the Steelers.
As far as just clinching a playoff spot, they can do that with a win in Green Bay OR a Dolphins loss to the Raiders OR a Ravens loss to the Giants.
I’m good with the Titans just going ahead and taking care of their business against the Packers.
