The saga of Jadeveon Clowney’s knee injury has been really strange. He hurt it in the Pittsburgh game. It went from looking like a serious injury, to looking find, to looking like a serious injury to him being back in the game - all in a span of about 10 minutes. He then missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday before the Bengals game, but he practiced in full on Friday and didn’t have an injury designation heading into that game.
He didn’t appear to have a setback in the Bengals game so I didn’t think much of it when he missed practice on Wednesday. Then, during practice on Thursday, Mike Garafalo reported that Clowney could miss a couple of games with the knee injury. Huh?
And then Garafalo reported this morning that Clowney could need surgery:
From @gmfb Weekend: Jadeveon Clowney is dealing with meniscus issue in his knee, sources tell me. All options, including surgery, are on the table for the #Titans' edge rusher. He's questionable for tomorrow vs. the #Bears, as he's been trying to battle through the issue. pic.twitter.com/U5UA5xjnTm

At some point we are going to have to examine what has gone on at the EDGE position this year for the Titans, but for now we just hope and pray that Clowney can sit out the next two weeks and be ready to go on Sunday.
