The Titans are just days away from their pivotal showdown with the Colts.
The Colts received some unfortunate news this morning when reports surfaced that star defensive tackle DeForest Buckner will miss Sunday’s game. He’s currently on the COVID-19 list. He went on the list earlier this week. There was some uncertainty regarding whether or not he tested positive or if he had close contact with someone who tested positive. We now know that he indeed tested positive, according to Ian Rapoport.
Clarity on #Colts DT DeForest Buckner: He is on the COVID-19 reserve list because of a positive test, not as a high-risk close contact. He is out for Sunday.

This is a big boost for a Titans offense that goes into Sunday’s game with their third left tackle of the season. Buckner’s absence is great news for Derrick Henry and the run game. Buckner is the best player on this Colts defense. It’s hard to feel sorry for the Colts given all the injuries the Titans have on defense.
With that said, we hope Buckner and his family are doing well. Our thoughts and prayers are with him as he battles Covid-19.
