He was released from the 53-man roster yesterday and went unclaimed on waivers today.
He will punt for the @Titans on Sunday if Kern is unable to play.
The move comes a day after Daniel was released from the 53-man roster and fellow punter Ryan Allen was released from the practice squad.
It also comes a day after starting punter Brett Kern was added to the team’s “Designated for Return” list.
This designation will open up a 21-day window for Kern to practice with the team, and he will not count against the team’s 53-man roster until being activated from Injured Reserve.
It remains to be seen if Kern will be ready for Sunday’s game against the Colts. Mike Vrabel mentioned today that Kern is working hard to return to action.
If Kern is not ready to go on Sunday, expect the Titans to call up Daniel from the practice squad.
