Well, that was fast. THE BOY is back. Kinda.
A day after the Titans waived linebacker Will Compton, the team is adding him back to their practice squad, according to sources close to The Bus:

We have reached a point where The Bus is breaking news now. Cool! Compton is a fan favorite in the city and is best known for being one-half of the popular Bussin’ With the Boys Podcast alongside Titans left tackle Taylor Lewan. Fans will be happy to see him staying in Nashville for now. We can see him being added back onto the 53-man roster at some point this season.
Speaking of their roster, the Titans currently have just 51 players on their 53-man roster. We are purely speculating, but we can envision a scenario where the Titans use those two empty spots to activate Adoree Jackson and elevate fellow linebacker Daren Bates from the the practice squad onto the active roster. Bates has been called up from the practice squad to the gameday roster over the last few weeks as the team likes his special teams ability.
Activating Jackson would be huge. This secondary (defense as a whole, really) is badly struggling right now. They need more players with coverage skills, and Jackson may be the best cover corner on this roster.
