At the risk of going LOLomas, the Titans should absolutely make a call to the Patriots about this:
#Patriots have talked about trading 2019 Defensive player of the year, CB Stephon Gilmore, per @AlbertBreer

They were in contact and had conversations with teams about trading him in August - Could be a trade target again with Pats going through a losing season without Tom Brady pic.twitter.com/I9SIYJexzP
I don’t know what the price would be here, but Robinson should at least find that out. We know the Patriots love draft picks. What if they just want a 1st and 3rd for him or something like that? The Titans will likely have another pick that is 31st or 32nd. That would be a small price to pay for the reigning defensive player of the year.
Gilmore also has a contract that isn’t that monstrous. His cap number this year is just over $25 million, which is a lot but you wouldn’t be taking all of that on, and cap number of $17 million next year.
This isn’t likely to happen. You don’t see many blockbuster trades at the deadline in the NFL, but the Titans are desperate for help in the secondary this season.
