Taylor Lewan broke his own injury news today. The Titans star left tackle announced on Twitter that he did indeed tear his ACL in yesterday’s win over the Texans:
I wanted to let everyone know I got an MRI today. I Tore my ACL yesterday against Houston. Don’t feel sorry for me, I’m going to handle this rehab like a Pro and come back better than ever. Thank you @Titans fans for your support. #NoBadDays

I don’t think there is any question that Ty Sambrailo is your starting left tackle this week against the Steelers. The question going forward will be how quickly can Isaiah Wilson be ready to take over at right tackle because at that point you have to seriously consider plugging Wilson in there and moving Dennis Kelly to left tackle.
John Glennon and I spent a little bit of time talking about the options on the offensive line on last night’s Homerun Throwback podcast. You can listen to that here.
The fact that this injury was suffered in mid-October gives you hopes that Lewan will be 100% ready to go at the start of the 2021 season. That’s not the most important thing right now, but it is an important detail to note here.
For now, as I said last night, our best wishes go out to Lewan in his rehab. He appears to be in a good frame of mind to knock it out!
