Kamalei Correa has requested a trade

Mike Garafolo is reporting that Kamalei Correa has requested a trade:

This is an odd request from a guy that, as Garafolo mentions, has only played 39 snaps in the three games he has been active this season. He came off the COVID list before yesterday’s game but was inactive.

Correa really came on down the stretch last year. That led them to wanting to bring him back, but that did take a while. Probably because he thought his value was higher than it actually was (kind of like now because he has 0 trade value). He ultimately signed a 1-year contract worth $2.25 million.

As the report mentions, the Titans have agreed to release him if they can’t trade him. That will most likely be what ends up happening.

Correa joined the Titans before the 2018 season when the Titans sent a 6th-round pick to the Ravens to acquire him.
