The Titans got some excellent news Sunday afternoon as they were able to activate defensive lineman DaQuan Jones and long snapper Beau Brinkley from the Reserve/COVID list.

Jones and Brinkley were two of the first players to test positive for Covid-19 from the initial wave last week.
The return of Brinkley is an underrated one. He’s the longest-tenured Titan and plays an important position where consistency is key and valued. It also eliminates the need for the Titans to bring in an emergency long-snapper, which would have been a necessity had Brinkley been unable to go. It’s one thing that Mike Vrabel and Jon Robinson can take off their plates at this point.
Jones’ return is also big. The Titans D-line has struggled at times this season. They’ve especially struggled when players like Jones have come off the field. Getting him back ahead of this Bills game is a big victory for this team right now.
It will be interesting to see if the Titans are able to activate any other players from the Reserve/COVID list in time for Tuesday’s game.
Check back for updates.
