Titans News: Legacy Payback

NFL: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Tennessee Titans Jim Brown-USA TODAY Sports

There is a lot of bad blood between the Titans and Ravens. 2000 and 2008 were two of the best teams the Titans have ever had, and both times beaten by the lower seeded Ravens in the playoffs. In 2008, the Ravens tried to injure Chris Johnson and also got away with a play that went off about 30 seconds after the play clock expired.

Derrick Mason and Steve McNair both went on to play for the bitter rivals before their careers ended. Eddie George vs. Ray Lewis (an obstructor of justice) was a fierce battle when the teams play. This week the Titans will have the chance to get some payback against the Ravens on Saturday, and they’ll need to be at their best to do it.

Derrick Henry was one of the top 3 winners according to Adam Schien from Wild Card weekend.

Five Thirty Eight talks a little about the Titans but more about how the Patriots are just shells of themselves.
