Titans News: Thank You, Coombs and Pees

NFL: Tennessee Titans-Minicamp Christopher Hanewinckel-USA TODAY Sports

Dean Pees retired yesterday, and Kerry Coombs is going back to Ohio State University to be their Co-Defensive Coordinator. It’ll be really interesting to see who they get to replace both guys. Coombs and Pees’ impact on the Titans was obvious and tremendous. The DBs all improved under Kerry and the defense typically had great game plans to shut down the opposition, especially this postseason. A big thank you to both gentlemen for their service, and I wish them luck in retirement and at the collegiate level.

Jon Robinson was back to work on Monday, signing 10 players to futures contracts.

Always classy, Marcus Mariota discusses his impending free agency and what the Titans have meant to him.

Tom Brady says that he’s open minded about where he’ll play next year. My guess is that he ends up in New England, but I also wonder whether the Titans are in on him, for better or worse.

Ryan Tannehill and Jurrell Casey are in the Pro Bowl, which is awesome, but also sucks because it means the Titans lost and not the Chiefs.
