The Tennessee Titans amazing 2019 season came to an end yesterday when they lost to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game 35-24. It was an improbable run that was a huge step forward for this franchise. Hopefully this run puts them on the map for a few more nationally televised games next season.
Anyway, with that loss we officially turn to the offseason. The Titans have quite a few questions to answer before they get to the NFL Draft in late April. The first of those questions will be which free agents do the Titans want to bring back for 2020.
There are 22 players listed by Spotrac scheduled to become free agents. This list contains more important players than any list of this kind has since Jon Robinson took over as the general manager.
Here is the list of players:
Darren Bates
Cameron Batson
Tramaine Brock
Jack Conklin
Kamalei Correa
Anthony Firkser
David Fluellen
Reggie Gilbert
Derrick Henry
Darius Jennings
Austin Johnson
Dennis Kelly
Marcus Mariota
Chris Milton
Kevin Pamphile
MyCole Pruitt
Logan Ryan
Tajae Sharpe
LeShaun Sims
Ryan Tannehill
Wesley Woodyard
As I said, there are a lot of heavy hitters on that list. The first two decisions they have to make are what to do at quarterback and with Derrick Henry. Those decisions will shape what the rest of the plan looks like.
Here’s my question for you, and I asked it on Twitter yesterday as well, if you are Jon Robinson, what offer are you making to Tannehill right now?
