The Falcons apparently think that AJ Brown is the #1 receiver on the Titans:
...so the Falcons wanted their top CB on AJ Brown, but Brown only ran 13 routes in the game. Weird, Titans. Weird.

Of course we don’t really know what this actually means. The easy conclusion to jump to here, as Mike Clay did I think, is that the Falcons viewed AJ Brown as the #1 receiver- ahead of Corey Davis. That is why Mike has the “Weird, Titans. Weird.” line there at the end.
At this point I think we can all agree that Brown needs to be on the field more often. He was only on the field for 28 snaps yesterday. Tajae Sharpe was out there for 38. That’s pretty crazy. The fact that Tajae played more than Brown and Adam Humphries (26 snaps) is just dumb. I don’t hate Tajae, but he shouldn’t be on the field more than those guys...and don’t give me any crap about the position they play. Arthur Smith needs to find a way to get his best players on the field.
