It’s time to drop the Marcus Mariota arguments and rally against the hated Jaguars

So I feel like we need a bit of a reset. If you are a part of Two-Toned Twitter you know that it has been a non-stop Marcus Mariota debate since the loss to the Colts on Sunday. Some people have been calling it the Titans Twitter Civil War. It does feel that way with people being really split on Mariota.

HOWEVA, the Titans are only 2 games into this season. They are 1-1 and have a REALLY HUGE (TWSS) game tonight in Jacksonville. It is ridiculous to call a week 3 game a “must win,” but this game has that feeling to it. Coming back from an 0-2 start in the AFC South would be a really tough chore for the Titans.

The Jaguars are already fighting with each other on the sidelines. Jalen Ramsey has already asked for a trade. They are a team that is on the edge of completely imploding in week 3 like they did last year. The Titans need to take advantage of that. They need to come out and him in the mouth. We know that starts with Derrick Henry.

But it doesn’t end with Henry. Mariota has to get it going in this game. The offense is going to need to hit some big plays in this game because the Jaguars defense is still good. It is tough to sustain drives against them.

It is time for us to rally around our common enemy- the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Titans have owned them for the last couple of years. Let’s put our Marcus Mariota debate/feelings aside and get ready to cheer for another win in the Titans’ home away from home.

GO TITANS!!
