The preseason is one day away, as the Titans travel to Philadelphia tomorrow to test their new players at 630 central time. So at long last we can get something that even vaguely resembles regular season football!
In theme with the above paragraph, the Titans have plenty of new faces to show off in the preseason, so which one(s) are you most excited to see? Guys like Rodger Saffold, Adam Humphries, Cameron Wake, and Jeffery Simmons immediately come to mind in many Titans’ fans’ heads, but my answer is a little different.
I’m looking forward to seeing Ole Miss rookie WR A.J. Brown the most out of all the new faces on Tennessee’s roster. He was drafted to help improve an underwhelming receiving corps, and his skill set seemed solid enough in college to get that job done. I didn’t think he was the most spectacular route runner in this year’s rookie wide receiver class, but at the same time I didn’t see him as a slouch either. I would like to see him improve against press coverage, and this is what the preseason can help achieve.
Keeping in theme with the receiving corps, Adam Humphries was also a solid part of the Buccaneers’ receiving corps. He should be the primary slot guy, an upgrade over previous Titans receivers in that area. I’m looking forward to seeing how the two compare with the third-year starter Corey Davis.
With that said, let’s hear your picks in the comment section below. We’re just one day away from the preseason festivities beginning!
