Taylor Lewan lost his appeal. He has officially been suspended for the first 4 games of the 2019 season. That isn’t a surprise because NFL players never win these appeals.

Here is the statement from the NFL (via Jim Wyatt):

Taylor Lewan of the Tennessee Titans has been suspended without pay for the first four games of the 2019 regular season for violating the NFL policy on performance-enhancing substances. Lewan is eligible to participate in all preseason practices and games. He will be allowed to return to the Titans’ active roster on Monday, Sept. 30, following the team’s Week 4 game at Atlanta.”

Again, no real surprise here. The good news is that Jack Conklin looks like he has returned to pre-injury form. That is key because they need him solid over there while Dennis Kelly is filling in for Lewan.
