Titans make handful of roster moves before Saturday’s practice

NFL: Buffalo Bills at Kansas City Chiefs Jay Biggerstaff-USA TODAY Sports

The Titans announced this morning that they have moved Jurrel Casey from PUP to the active roster. We knew that was just a matter of time. We will have to wait and see how they work Casey back into the rotation. Will he take part in the practices against the Patriots this week? Time will tell.

The Titans added 4 other players to the active roster today, the most notable being Akeem Hunt. He was most recently with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2017. They also added defensive end Eric Cotton, wide receiver DeAngelo Yancey and linebacker Ukeme Eligwe. My guess is that it will be an uphill battle for any of these guys to make the roster.

They also moved rookie outside linebacker D’Andre Walker to injured reserve. It has been a rough start to the season for the Titans draft class.

The team also waived Jalen Tolliver and waived injured linebacker Riley Bullough and offensive lineman Cody Conway.
