Todd McShay 2020 NFL mock draft

NCAA Football: Colorado State at Florida Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

Todd McShay has posted his 2020 first round mock draft over at ESPN. He used Football Outsiders record projections for the draft order. Their projections have the Titans picking 21st. That is probably about worse case scenario for the Titans because it would mean they were good but not great again. It also probably means that they still don’t have a definitive answer on Marcus Mariota.

As for the pick, the had the Titans taking Jabari Zuniga, DE, Florida. Death, taxes and the Titans needing a pass rusher off the edge #amirite? Here are McShay’s comments on the pick:

Zuniga’s 11 TFLs and 6.5 sacks sound even better when you remember that 2019 first-rounder Jeffery Simmons ought to be healthy and ready to make plays on that line alongside him.

I can’t say that I have studied Zuniga at all at this point, but if he is worth the 21st pick, and defensive line that features him, Jurrell Casey and Simmons would be really fun to watch!
