Brad Kelly of The Draft Network wrote a post today about the one undrafted free agent most likely to make the roster for each of the 32 NFL teams. Kelly named Hamp Cheevers that guy for the Tennessee Titans.*
There was a lot of excitement around Twitter when Cheevers was connected to the Titans. Probably because of stats like this:
New Titans CB Hamp Cheevers allowed a career passer rating when targeted of just 35.9. That's lower than if the opposing QB just threw the ball into the dirt on every play. pic.twitter.com/ZZwY8hPMll

That’s something right there. The Titans have a lot of connections to the Boston College program with Mike Vrabel’s son currently playing their and Frank Piraino being hired as the Titans’ strength coach after having the same position at Boston College last season.
Here is what Kelly had to say about Cheevers:
Tennessee had interest in Cheevers throughout the pre-draft process, and didn’t add a cornerback during the NFL Draft. Cheevers’ excellent ball skills and fluid hips makes him a competitor in coverage.
*One not here, the Titans have not confirmed any undrafted free agents yet. Mike Keith said on the Official Titans Podcast yesterday that they likely won’t until the guys have gotten here and passed a physical.
