UPDATE: April 21st, 7:00PM CDT —
April 17th was the final day for pre-draft visits, and with the draft only a few days away, this is likely the final update of the 2019 Titans Prospect Meeting Tracker. In the coming days, we might hear of more workouts that took place before the deadline, but there will be no new meetings before draft night.
We now know 28 of the Titans’ Official Top-30 visits. Two of those 28 were most likely counted as local visits, assuming the Titans didn’t provide transportation to Joejuan Williams or Emanuel Hall (Hall reportedly visited the Titans even though his workout was canceled due to strep throat).
Three others were listed as having “worked out or visited” the Titans (as part of a long list of teams). It’s possible those three players (Andre Dillard, OT, Washington State, Oli Udoh, OT, Elon, and Sean Bunting, CB, Central Michigan) were in fact top-30 visits.
The distribution of top-30s is fairly well rounded but with clear majorities at wide receiver and defensive end (7 each).

One interesting absent position from that list: tight end. Many people in the media have projected the Titans to take a tight end early in the draft, but the Titans have had just 3 private meetings/workouts (outside of Pro Days and other events) reported with tight ends:
- Jace Sternberger, TE, Texas A&M
- Kendall Blanton, TE, Missouri
- Dawson Knox, TE, Ole Miss
And not a single (reported) top-30 visit.
Here are the players who have had the most reported interactions with Titans personnel so far this year:
- Joejuan Williams, CB, Vanderbilt* — Combine meeting, Pro Day meeting, private workout, local day workout, Official Top-30 Visit (as a local visit)
- Ed Oliver, DT, Houston* — Combine meeting, Pro Day meeting, private workout, Official Top-30 Visit

The full and final list of visits that have been uncovered is below.
And here’s the Google Sheets version of it with tabs for each type of meeting.
UPDATE: April 9th, 5:30PM CDT — Many new official visits to report (including receivers Deebo Samuel and J.J. Arcega-Whiteside), as well as some additional names for Private Meetings and Pro Day interest.
UPDATE: April 4th, 12:00PM CDT — Added a handful of newly reported “Private Meetings” (workouts), and also created a new category to track Local Day attendees.
UPDATE: April 2nd, 1:00PM CDT — Added newly reported “Private Meetings” for Chris Lindstrom and Sione Takitaki, as well as some names the Titans met with over that past few weeks that were missed on the original list.
The detailed Google Spreadsheet tracker has also been re-formatted to include separate, specific tabs for each of the different types of meetings. Here’s the link to that.
April 1, 12:00PM CDT — During the pre-draft process, coaches and executives have many chances to meet with prospects and put them through interviews, meetings, workouts, and even tours of the facility.
Teams can start meeting with players during the all-star game circuit in January, including the week of practices leading up to the Shrine Game, NFLPA Collegiate Bowl, and the Senior Bowl. Teams also have the chance to meet with players at the NFL Scouting Combine and college pro days, as well as to host private meetings, on-campus workouts, dinners, and local visits.
Apart from all of those “unofficial” visits and workouts, teams are allowed to bring up to 30 non-local players to their team facilities for an extended series of meetings, tours, and workouts, in what are referred to as official “Top-30” visits.
It’s not necessarily a “secret,” but teams don’t usually post information about prospect meetings. In the competitive draft landscape, naturally they don’t want their competitors to know with which prospects they’re meeting, but players and agents give this information to journalists and media members when prompted. Our own Justin Melo has done a great job reporting Titans visits and workouts by talking to players and agents (follow him on Twitter @JustinM_NFL to stay up to date).
With the help of a few others (special shout-out to Ty Wurth), I have been gathering and tracking all of the Titans prospect meetings, visits, and workouts as they are reported.
Jon Robinson hasn’t met with every prospect he’s drafted, but he has visited in some way with almost all of them. The problem with tracking these things, though, is that it is quite common for a meeting to go completely unreported until after the draft, which is what happened with both Rashaan Evans and Harold Landry last year.
Putting that aside... I’ve divided the types of interactions into three categories: “Event Meetings” — meetings that occurred at all-star games, pro days, or the combine; “Private Meetings” — private visits or workouts (and other meetings, such as dinners) that required some amount of coordination ahead of time; and “Official Top-30 Visits” for those that have been specified as such.
Without further ado, here are all of the prospects the Titans have reportedly spoken to in some notable form or fashion during this draft cycle...

Notes and Thoughts
Please note that these lists are incomplete, as we can only know what we have heard. Regardless, this info should give us a good idea of what positions and their projected draft ranges at which the Titans are taking a very close look.
Another note to point out, there is often some ambiguity and thus confusion with the way these “meetings” are reported. For that reason, I have only classified visits as official “Top-30s” if I see that specific distinction in the report.
Because of that, some of the players listed under the “private meetings” category might technically be Top-30 visits. It is unlikely that we will know all 30 non-local names the Titans elect to bring in before the draft takes place.
There does seem to be a high number of linebackers and defensive backs on the above lists. I think, based on this info, the Titans may be looking for special teams contributors on day three of the draft. It’s also interesting that they’ve met with two UDFA-projected quarterbacks and a kicker.
Ashton Dulin is a small-school receiver prospect who has worked out privately for the Titans. I’m mentioning him here specifically because I think it’s noteworthy that the Titans were the only team to meet formally with Dulin at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis.
We will continue to update this list as information is reported up until the draft, so stay tuned...
