Jim Wyatt has another mailbag and he says that the Titans remaining needs are EDGE, DT, iOL, WR, and TE. I would 100% agree with that assessment. I think an ideal scenario would be to get one of the lineman in the 1st round and then grabbing Deebo Samuel in the 2nd.
The majority of mock drafts have the Titans selecting Christian Wilkins from Clemson with the 19th overall pick. Other mocks have the Titans selecting Brian Burns, Garrett Bradbury, Noah Fant, TJ Hockensen, Irv Smith, DK Metcalf, Jachai Polite, Clelin Ferrell, Marquise Brown, and DREW LOCK?????
John Mara not only detests having good players on his football team, but he also is against having rules that make sense. After taking running starts out of kickoffs, onside kicks fell to a success rate that was unbelievably poor. To compensate, there is a rule that has been proposed to have a single 4th and 15 play in lieu of an onside kick.
The rules committee almost unanimously approved the rule to be presented to the owners, but John Mara was not having it. Thankfully it will still be voted upon by the owners this week.
