It was announced on Monday that the Titans had agreed to terms with Adam Humphries. His contract is for 4 years and $36 million with $19 million in guaranteed money. It was later reported that the Patriots upped their offer to him after he had agreed to terms. Humphries, saying he is a man of his word, turned down the Pats offer to stick with the agreement he had with the Titans.
Mike wrote an excellent breakdown about what the Titans are getting in Humphries here.
The Titans will still need to add another receiver with speed at some point, whether in the second wave of free agency or the draft, but they went a long way in strengthening the wide receiver room with this signing.
Now it is your turn to grade this signing. Vote in the poll below and leave comments on why you voted for the letter that you did.
