NFL: Super Bowl LIII-New England Patriots vs Los Angeles Rams Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

Jon Robinson just upgraded the interior offensive line by signing former Los Angeles Rams guard Rodger Saffold. He was the 8th best guard in the league last year according to Pro Football Focus. Saffold’s deal with the Titans is for 4 years and $44 million with $22.5 guaranteed according to Adam Schefter:

This is a huge get for the Titans! One of the biggest needs heading into the offseason was upgrading the interior offensive line, which outside of one year, has been really bad for a long time. This will obviously help Derrick Henry and the run game, but it also really helps the passing game. Saffold should help Marcus Mariota from getting hit as often as he did last year. Hopefully that leads to him staying healthy in 2019.

A lot of people were complaining about Robinson not doing anything a couple of hours into the “legal tampering period.” You definitely cannot say that now!
