Good for Vaccaro. He came in here on a 1-year deal in 2018 and played really well. You could see how much the defense missed him when he was out with the injured elbow. The Titans were extremely lucky that he was available with Johnathan Cyprien went down with a torn ACL in training camp.
Speaking of Cyprien, the Titans have also officially released him. It was reported a couple of weeks ago that he would be out, but the move wasn’t official until today. Cyp was a really good guy to have on the team. Hopefully he will find work really soon.
With that being said, Vaccaro was clearly an upgrade over Cyprien. We knew it would cost the Titans more, but hey, better players are more expensive.
