[UPDATE]- Schefter says the Steelers are now asking for a 1st round pick after asking for more than just a 1 earlier. He doesn’t seem convinced they will get a 1 for him at this point. This becomes a lot more intriguing if you are talking about a day 2 pick.
Well this is a little bit shocking. Adam Schefter is reporting that the Titans are one of the 3 teams that has shown the most interest in trading for Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown. The Raiders and the Redskins are the other 2 teams:
The three teams that have shown the most interest in wide receiver Antonio Brown to date are the Oakland Raiders, Washington Redskins and Tennessee Titans, per league sources. Thus, the battle for Brown could develop into a battle between Grudens, Jon and Jay.

This comes as quite a shock to me. I really thought after Mike Vrabel said that there are some things that you can’t put up with that the Titans were out on Brown. That is apparently not the case.
I don’t love the idea. Look, Brown is A LOT better than any receiver on the Titans roster, but he comes with a lot of baggage and a HUGE contract that he probably isn’t going to play up to over the next couple of years.
There is no doubt the Titans desperately need weapons, but I would rather them “overpay” for a guy like Tyrell Williams than trade for Brown- especially when you consider they would have to give up draft capital to get Brown but not Williams.
This will be something to keep an eye on in the coming days and weeks.
