The Titans have been 9-7 the past three years, and while it’s much better than the losing seasons we’ve been accustomed to, the goal is to win a championship says Mike Vrabel, and that is the way it should be. In order to do that, the Titans need to make some moves this offseason to improve the offense. The defense was very very good in 2018 and as we saw with the final 4 teams in the playoffs, defense doesn’t matter as much as offense until the Super Bowl.
Jason Witten un-retired, giving us the ability to watch MNF without utilizing the mute function in 2019.
It’s fairly likely that the Titans will add a veteran WR this offseason, and that is good, but it absolutely has to be an impact guy, a #2 guy at least, because outside of Davis, the WRs are dookie.
Turron Davenport takes a look at how the Titans may look at injured prospects such as Jeffery Simmons (stud) and Marquise Brown.
Peter Schrager has the Titans selecting Noah Fant in round 1 of the 2019 NFL draft. I like Fant, but if you listened to the Midday 180 interview with Mike Keith yesterday, he spoke very highly of Jonnu Smith, and doesn’t think the Titans will target a TE that high. The positions Mike thinks the Titans will target with the 1st round pick are EDGE, DL, and iOL.
