Super Bowl Sunday: Open Thread

Well, it’s here. The last meaningful football game until September.

The New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams face off today in a rematch of Super Bowl XXXVI, 17 years later. The game is in Atlanta for the first time since the Rams won their last Super Bowl. That’s all I’ll say about that.

Jared Goff versus Tom Brady. Bill Belichick versus Sean McVay.

On the one hand, I live in Los Angeles, and it’d be cool to see my home city bring the Lombardi trophy home.

On the other hand, I hate the Rams. I don’t want them to win. I’d rather see Tom Brady secure his sixth ring just for the chance to witness an incredible moment in football history.
