Free agency is just a few short weeks away. With that being the case, national outlets are starting to write about free agency fits for each team. Keep in mind when reading these articles that quite a few of these guys will end up being re-signed by the team they played for last year.

You have to start any of these conversations with team needs. I think we can all agree that the Titans have a pretty big need at EDGE, WR, iOL and DL. The tough part is putting those in order. It is tough to distinguish between those top 3 needs.

In the last week I have seen 2 articles connecting EDGE guys to the Titans:

The first was from Pro Football Focus where they had this to say about Trey Flowers being a potential fit for the Titans:

*New England south. With Brian Orakpo and Derrick Morgan gone, Flowers fills a glaring need on the edge.

The second was from NFL.com where they connected Za’Darius Smith to the Titans:

Smith generated plenty of rough-and-tumble tape for the Ravens last season. PFF credited him with 61 pressures, a breakout leap from his 40 in 2017. The Titans need help pressuring the quarterback -- just like every team in the NFL -- and would hope to grab Smith just as the 26-year-old hits his prime.

Honestly, I’ll take either, but I would prefer Smith. What about you?
