Titans News: Long Way Back

Jonathan Cyprien tore his ACL in August, and is raring to come back in 2019. Cyp has been an incredible teammate, staying with the team, going to all team meetings as well as position meetings.

I fear that it’ll take longer for him to come back at full strength, like it did for Jack Conklin, and I also think Kenny Vaccaro’s contract situation impacts Cyp as well. Kenny is the superior player, but is no longer under contract, whereas Cyp is, putting the Titans in a bit of the proverbial pickle.

Bucky Brooks came out with his top 5 position rankings in the draft, and I think he’s too low on Ed Oliver. If Ed falls to 19, the thought of pairing him with Casey is too much for me to turn down.

Gregg Rosenthal has some AFC cut candidates, and Kelechi Osmele is VERY intriguing to me. He and Lewan would make one of, if not the best, LG, LT combos in the league.

NFL.com says the Titans should look at Chase Winovich, who sounds like a poor man’s Sam Hubbard from last years draft.
