Which Titans Players Are You Thankful For?

Happy Thanksgiving, Nashville!

NFL: Jacksonville Jaguars at Tennessee Titans Christopher Hanewinckel-USA TODAY Sports

First and foremost, I want to wish all of Nashville a very happy Thanksgiving. You guys have welcomed me in with open arms since I joined Music City Miracles in late February of 2018, so I appreciate the support and comments about my work!

With that out of the way, let’s get to today’s holiday piece. We at Music City Miracles would like to know which Titans players you’re thankful for. Maybe that’s something you consider at your dinner tables chowing down on turkey, gravy, and potatoes with the rest of your family, or maybe not. Either way, let us know!

If I had to pick one, it would probably be Ryan Tannehill. Originally the backup to Marcus Mariota, he’s made the Titans offense significantly more explosive since he took over as the starting QB. I have no idea how long he’ll keep this up, and that’s why I think he’ll serve as a bridge QB for Tennessee, but I can say I liked him in Miami and like what he’s doing here.

Another Titans player I am thankful for is Harold Landry. I was a huge fan of him leading up to the 2018 draft class, and with 8 sacks on the season he’s approaching the double digit numbers many of us expected from him prior to the 2019 season. His bend is monstrous and the development of more pass rushing techniques has made him a more versatile star in the making.

A.J. Brown has given the Titans an explosive receiver that they can trust outside of Corey Davis. The rookie currently has 581 receiving yards and 4 touchdowns in 11 games and 6 starts, and that’s something we should all be thankful for! Of course where would we be without thanking Derrick Henry? One of the league’s most fun running backs to watch, the dude just consistently owns teams like the Chiefs and Jaguars while dishing out some of the nastiest stiff arms you’ll ever see.

Other guys to be thankful for include stud linebackers such as Rashaan Evans and Jayon Brown, the career year of Logan Ryan, and the ball hawk himself, Kevin Byard. With this in mind let’s hear what you guys have to say? And have a very happy Thanksgiving with your loved ones!
