Taylor Lewan was eligible to return to the Titans this week after serving his 4 game suspension for testing positive for a banned substance. He was apparently one of the first ones in the building on Monday morning. It is good to know that he was eager to get back with the team.
The Titans had a roster exemption until today for Lewan, which means he could practice with the team this week before “officially” being added to the 53-man roster. The Titans announced this afternoon that the corresponding move to adding Lewan to the roster was moving David Fluellen to IR.
This means that the Titans now have 11 offensive lineman on their 53-man roster. That number is a little bit crazy. My guess is that they will review their options after this game on Sunday and make another move next week.
It will be great to see Lewan back out there against the Bills on Sunday.
