Adam Schefter is reporting that the Titans brought in two quarterbacks for workouts today:

I see a lot of people on social media jumping to the conclusion that this means something is happening with Marcus Mariota today. While that isn’t impossible, that most likely isn’t the case. This is probably just a case of keeping tabs on what quarterbacks are available in the event of an injury to Ryan Tannehill.

As for the guys they brought in today:

Josh Johnson has played for half the league. He was most recently with the Detroit Lions this past season. He has started 8 games in his career- including a week 16 game against the Titans last year when he was with the Washington Redskins. He threw for 153 yards with 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions in that game.

Taylor Heinicke started one game for the Panthers last year. They released him right before the season started this year.
