The Titans filled out the rest of their practice squad this morning, signing four more players who were cut from other teams to add to the six they brought back from their own camp yesterday.
The most notable addition was quarterback Logan Woodside. He was a 7th round pick for the Bengals in April’s draft, but didn’t end up making the roster in Cincinnati. A prolific college QB at Toledo, Woodside is known to have an average but accurate arm and he also offers a greater level of athleticism compared to Luke Falk.
The Titans also landed wide receiver Austin Proehl, the son of former NFL wide receiver Ricky Proehl. He was drafted in the 7th round by the Bills after playing his college ball at North Carolina. He profiles as an undersized slot receiver with excellent quickness.
The Titans also added offensive lineman Coleman Shelton and defensive lineman Deon Simon to round out the 10 man practice squad. Simon has spent the last few seasons with the Jets on both the practice squad and active roster. Shelton was an undrafted center/guard prospect who spent camp with the 49ers.
That finalizes the initial practice squad for the 2018 season, though these spots are often pretty fluid during the season. Below is the full group.
