Chief Injury News, aka Paul Kuharsky, is reporting that Taylor Lewan passed his test with an independent doctor and has cleared the concussion protocol:
.@TaylorLewan77 passed his test with an independent doctor and moved out of the concussion protocol. That should mean a return for the #Titans LT in Jacksonville against the #Jaguars Sunday.

We talked about this would happen on last night’s Locked on Titans (listen here).
It goes without saying that this is great news for the Titans. I am still holding out hope that we get a full practice from Jack Conklin today and he plays on Sunday. That isn’t likely to happen, but one can hope, right?
The most likely scenario is that we see Lewan at left tackle and Kevin Pamphile at right tackle (Dennis Kelly is still recovering from his stay in the hospital). Either way, the Titans are much better off with Lewan out there than they were last week without him.
This is the first big injury hurdle of the week. Now we just have to wait for news on Marcus Mariota’s status.
