So things are definitely trending in the right direction for Marcus Mariota to play on Sunday in Jacksonville against the Jaguars. Jim Wyatt is basically Santa Claus today with this article detailing all of the improvements from Mariota. My favorite part is where Mike Vrabel said Mariota took “close to the majority” of reps.
Wyatt also included this nugget from Matt LaFleur:
“I think he has gotten a little bit better every day,” LaFleur said. “Today is the best he’s thrown the ball since all this occurred vs. Miami. We’ll just kind of take it day by day and see where he’s at on Sunday.”
So much good news!
The other big note from today was that Taylor Lewan was a full participant in practice yesterday after being limited on Wednesday. Vrabel said after practice today that Lewan is meeting with an independent doctor at 4:30 this afternoon. That is the final step in him being cleared to play on Sunday. There is no reason to believe that won’t happen at this point.
Here is the full injury report from today:

As Buck mentioned there, Kamalei Correa did pop up with a back injury. I don’t think anything else was said about that.
