Browns trade Josh Gordon to the Patriots

NFL: Cleveland Browns at Pittsburgh Steelers Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

[UPDATE]- Gordon is headed to the Patriots per Ian Rapoport:

In case you weren’t paying attention Saturday night, the Browns announced that they were going to waive Josh Gordon today. There are obviously a lot of moving parts with Gordon’s situation, but apparently the Browns decided that it was finally time to move on. That’s never an easy decision with a player that is as talented as Gordon is.

Well now it appears likely that the Browns will trade him per Ian Rapoport:

Josina Anderson is reporting that 8-10 teams have inquired and that some teams want it kept quiet that they are in the mix:

Gordon has a skill set that would help the Titans, but that is basically the same thing as saying that water is wet. Skill set has never been the question with Gordon, however. I would be really surprised if the Titans end up being the team that acquires Gordon. He just doesn’t seem to fit the type of player that Jon Robinson looks for.

With that being said, I wouldn’t be upset if they gave up a 5th or 6th round pick to bring Gordon in. What are your feelings on the subject?
