Dennis Kelly is in the hospital; Titans promote Tyler Marz from practice squad

Well the news on the Titans offensive line just keep getting worse. Paul Kuharsky is reporting that Dennis Kelly is in the hospital today with some type of virus. The Titans have announced that he is out for the game tomorrow yet, but I can’t imagine how he would be in any condition to play tomorrow when he is in the hospital today.

PK also announced that the Titans promote offensive tackle Tyler Marz from the practice squad. They waived Kenneth Durden.

The situation at tackle tomorrow is going to be a disaster. You already have your fourth tackle, Kevin Pamphile, starting. Now they are going to have to run someone else out there at right tackle between Tyler Marz and Corey Levin. There is also the chance they could slide Quinton Spain out to tackle and play someone else at guard.

Whatever the case, it isn’t going to be pretty. It might be wise to hold Marcus Mariota out tomorrow even if he is healthy, but that isn’t how things work. He will play if he is ready. I think I am hoping that he isn’t healthy at this point....Sorry, Blaine....
