ESPN ranks Titans 11th in under 25 talent

They moved up one spot from last year.

Scott Kacsmar wrote an article at ESPN.com ranking the 32 NFL teams in terms of the under 25 year old talent on the roster (In$ider). He ranked the Titans 11th in the league which is one spot higher than they were on the same list last year. The Rams ranked 1st after ranking 27th last year. It is funny what a year (and a change in coaching staff) can do.

He makes an interesting note to start off the section about the Titans. Only the Titans, Rams and Chiefs have their starting quarterback, top running back and top wide receiver that are 25 or younger. That sets up pretty well for the future.

Kacsmar also makes the (fair) observation that we aren’t sure yet if any of them are going to be great. I am probably overly optimistic here, but I fully expect the Titans to make a Rams-like jump this season because they are getting a HUGE upgrade in coaching staff.

Adoree Jackson was also highlighted in the piece. Last year he was targeted 107 times and only allowed 5.9 yards per target, which was good for 7th in the league. I still can’t get over how good he was as a corner last year.

And think, the Titans also added Rashaan Evans and #StealoftheDraft #Honor Harold Landry to the group under 25. It is going to be a fun year.
