Well, this isn’t the news we were hoping for today:
#Titans LB Harold Landry received a second opinion from renowned specialist Dr. Robert Anderson, who diagnosed Landry with a mid/high-ankle sprain, source said. Good news is no serious damage to joint. Bad news is talented rookie pass rusher’s status uncertain for Week 1.

It seemed like such a good sign that Harold Landry was seen walking through the locker room without a boot on earlier this week. That led most people to speculate that he didn’t have the dreaded high ankle sprain. In the words of Lee Corso, not so fast my friend....
This means there is a very good chance that the Titans head to Miami to play the Dolphins without Derrick Morgan and Landry available, and apparently the speculation on why the Titans traded for Kamalei Correa for the Ravens was correct. They are going to need him week 1.
The Titans 2018 draft class hasn’t had the best luck. Rashaan Evans missed most of training camp with some type of injury. Dane Cruikshank was injured in the first preseason game and missed some time in camp. Luke Falk isn’t good, and now this with Landry.
Here’s to hoping they can beat a bad Dolphins’ team in week 1 and get healthy for the Texans in week 2.
