Titans practice report: Good news, bad news

The Titans had quite a few players return to the practice field in some capacity today. That list includes Rishard Matthews, Delanie Walker, Brian Orakpo, Rashaan Evans, Malcolm Butler and Akrum Wadley. It doesn’t sound like Evans was able to do that much, but it sounds like everyone else could have been a full go. I cannot express how huge it is for this offense to have Matthews and Walker back out there. Marcus Mariota has the best chemistry with those 2 guys.

The bad news part of this is that Harold Landry, Derrick Morgan, Kendrick Lewis, Sharif Finch, Nick Williams and Jack Conklin all didn’t practice. The scariest thing here is that it appears Landry hurt the same ankle that cost him a lot of time at Boston College last season. That doesn’t mean it is the same injury, but it is still scary none the less. Josh Carraway and/or Aaron Wallace are going to have to step up if Landry and Morgan are both down in week 1.
