Titans waive (injured) Gimel President; Officially announce Steven Terrell signing

We told you earlier that Ian Rapoport was reporting that the Titans were signing safety Steven Terrell. The team has officially announced the signing. The good news here is that the corresponding move wasn’t putting Dane Cruikshank on IR. Instead, they have waived (injured) Gimel President and just straight up waived Johnny Maxey.

They will probably come to some type of injury settlement with President. It stinks to see his season over already. He had made some plays in camp and forced an interception last night. It was going to be fun to watch him compete for the last outside linebacker spot on this roster.

Maxey ends his second stint with the Titans. He was a guy that was always a long-shot to actually make the final 53-man roster.

As I said above, this means that Cruikshank’s season isn’t over. That was my initial fear when it was reported that the Titans were signing a safety.
