It’s just about that time. The Titans and the rest of the NFL will open training camp next week, officially getting the 2018 season rolling. With camp looming, we’re taking a look at some potential positional battles on the Titans’ roster.

Last week it was the offense, now we’re taking a look at the defensive side of the ball. There isn’t too much intrigue about who is going to start on Dean Pees’ defense, but there are a couple of interesting spots on the roster that will be shaped during camp.

Do the Titans have enough on the defensive line? That’s one spot where the team could stand to add one more depth piece. Who is going to emerge from the crowd at safety? Where will rookie Dane Cruikshank play? Can Kevin Dodd show us anything? Is Aaron Wallace ready to claim a spot?

We’ll dive into all of this, plus reflect a little on the retirement of DeMarco Murray.
