3 down. 1 to go.

The Titans announced tonight that they have agreed to terms with first round draft pick Rashaan Evans. These deals are pretty standard these days, but it seems like every year a pick or two doesn’t get signed until close to training camp because they are arguing over offset language. I am glad we won’t have to deal with that this year.

The terms of the deal weren’t announced tonight, but these first round deals are pretty standard these days. It will be a 4-year contract with a team option for the 5th year. The Titans will have to decide between his third and fourth year if they want to pick up that option.

The Titans have now signed three of their four draft picks. Only Harold Landry remains unsigned, but that is nothing to worry about. Seeing a second round pick holding out into training camp is a thing of the past.
