The Titans announced this morning that they have added 5 players to their roster following the rookie mini-camp this weekend. Those players include Joseph Este, DB, UT-Martin, Anthony Firkser, TE, Harvard, Robert Spillane, LB, Western Michigan, Tobenna Okeke, OLB, Fresno State and Connor Flagel, DL, Central Missouri. In all likelihood none of these guys will make the final 53-man roster, but they obviously made a positive impression on the coaching staff and Jon Robinson this weekend.
The Titans released QB Tyler Ferguson, DB Ryan McKinley, DB Elijaah Goins and RB Larry Rose.
The article linked above from Jim Wyatt says these new players will join the veterans today for the start of the offseason program. We should savor these workouts because it is going to be the last thing we have to talk about on the field for a few months. Maybe we will even get some insight on what the new offense is going to look like.
