Titans podcast: Leighton Vander Esch reports and the NFL Draft in Nashville (possibly)

Last night Terry and I talked about the report from Tony Pauline that the Titans were targeting Leighton Vander Esch in the draft. They pivoted to Rashaan Evans after Vander Esch went off the board to the Dallas Cowboys with the 19th pick. You can listen to the show here. As for the report, we have no way of knowing if it is true or not, but if it is, the Titans were clearly targeting an inside linebacker in the first round. It also tells me that if they did have Vander Esch #1 on their board, there wasn’t that much of a difference between him and Evans.

We also discussed the possibility of the NFL Draft being in Nashville the next couple of years. The sites for the next 2 years will be announced at the end of the month. It will come as no surprise to you that we think Nashville would be the perfect host.
