Lambert sent me an intersting tweet tonight. It comes from someone who calls himself Jersey Al on Twitter. I don’t know anything about him other than the fact that he is a member of the Pro Football Writers Association, so there’s that. Al, if that’s his real name, says the Titans were in talks with the Green Bay Packers about Brett Hundley:
A whisper for you. Was just told Hundley to the Titans was supposed to happen but called off by Tenn. Oakland still interested in Hundley for a late draft pick.

Hundley is expendable for the Packers now that they acquired DeShone Kizer from the Cleveland Browns earlier today.
The Titans are obviously in the market for a back-up quarterback after releasing Matt Cassel earlier today. The only other quarterback they had on their roster last year was Brandon Weeden and he is a free agent (and terrible).
Hundley had a couple of good games last year filling in for Aaron Rodgers but was pretty bad for the most part. He was 192 of 316 for 1,836 yards with 9 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. Yeesh. I’m not sure Hundley is an upgrade from Cassel.
It will be interesting to see if the Oakland Raiders do end up working out a deal for Hundley.
