Chris Johnson has been paying attention to the news, and apparently he thinks that the fact that the Titans are releasing DeMarco Murray opens the door for him to return to Tennessee:

Lol we will see if we can make it a reunion— Chris Johnson (@ChrisJohnson28) March 9, 2018
CJ was a fantastic running back for this team once upon a time. There is no doubt about this. He is easily the most exciting player this franchise has had since the days of Steve McNair, but he’s been done for a long time. He hasn’t had double digit touchdowns since 2010. He hasn’t averaged more than 4.3 yards per carry since 2012. That doesn’t even take into account the fact that he laid down in a playoff game...Go ahead and @ me.
Also, the Titans are looking for an explosive, pass catching running back. CJ was once explosive, but wasn’t even very good in the passing game during his prime.
So, thanks for the offer Chris, but the Titans will most likely sign a guy that can still actually play.
