Dan Kadar put out a new 2018 NFL mock draft yesterday, and he has the Titans selecting Rashaan Evans, LB, Alabama. This is a change of course from what we have been seeing in most mocks for the Titans. The pick makes sense though because the Titans need help at inside linebacker, and there is a legitimate chance that Evans could be the best player on their board when the Titans are on the clock.

Here is what Kadar had to say about Evans:

A pass rusher is often the choice for Tennessee, but with the departure of Avery Williamson, a linebacker has emerged as a big need. Evans is a technically sound linebacker who excels against the run and has experience on the inside and outside.

As you might have expected, I am a huge fan of Evans. He is a guy that can be a 3-down inside linebacker in the NFL. Wesley Woodyard played that role to some extent last year, but Evans would be an upgrade over Woodyard.

Click the link and see how Kadar has the first round playing out. If it were to fall that way, would you be happy with the Evans pick?
